About Christopher
I am a Ph.D. candidate studying the history of the American West at the University of California, Santa Barbara. My research examines the environmental impacts of early Nevada settlement during the nineteenth century and how contests over water shaped the state's legal approaches toward water policy.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Goleta Valley Historical Society.
